We are really lucky to have been away on a few UK breaks this year but given that it’s nearly June and we’ve only had a handful or warmish days I’m now starting to dream of hot holidays that involve lounging on the beach or pool. I sound like a real broken record when it comes to moaning about the weather but I don’t remember still wearing winter coats in Mat before!
As part of my collaboration with Melijoe I have picked some of my favourite girl’s summer fashion items from their huge kid’s clothing range.
Cherry is at an age where she wants to choose her own clothes but she also tends to go for the most glittery, sparkly and pink items (imagine a bright pink top with a sequinned cat on it!!) so I usually have to find things that are a compromise between what she would choose and what I would pick.
She is very girly and pink is her favourite colour but she also loves anything with flowers on.
These picks were a join effort and all things she would be happy to wear.
The pink dress at the top and the orange jellies are by Agatha Ruiz De La Prada who is a Spanish designer. Her range is so bright and colourful which I love and these canvas shoes are rather lovely too.
The dungarees are by Scotch and Soda, you can’t really go wrong with a pair of dungarees and these would be great for wearing on top of a costume to go to the beach.
The feather costume and hat are by Sunuva, Cherry loves hats at the moment and she liked the beaded detail on the costume.
The shorts and flower sandals are by Billiebush who are a French brand. They make lots of tulle skirts which Cherry loved too.
The striped cardigan is by Sonia Rykiel and the bag is by Pepe Jeans.
The tan sandals are by Yep By Jonak and would great with the two dresses and floral top below. The blue one is also by Scotch and Soda, the red one is by Troizenfants and also comes in a turquoise colour as is the pink top.
Now we just need the sun to start shining!
