Home Family Life Our Bank Holiday Weekend

Our Bank Holiday Weekend

by Jessica Amey

After the horrible weather last weekend I was so excited when the forecast for the bank holiday was sunny.

We had a family National Trust free pass so decided to visit Tyntesfield, I’d heard lots about it but it was even better than I could have imagined.

The house had been lived in until recently and nothing had ever been thrown away so it was full of the most amazing vintage crockery and furniture. I honestly would have loved to have left with lots of it!

Then you can walk around the grounds which are beautiful.

We had such a nice day, then on the way back we stopped and had dinner in a pub with a lovely garden.

Sunday was lovely weather too so we to a car boot sale in the morning then had a BBQ in the afternoon.

Monday wasn’t so good as Mr C had to work and the kids cried all day but hey at least we had two days of fun!

What did you all get up to?
