Cherry has enjoyed playing with dolls for a little while now. She says and does all the things with them that I do with her which is really rather cute. I can’t help but sit there smiling when I watch her insisting that they ‘sit down’ and ‘be careful’ before checking that they are ‘strapped in properly’. Everything always has to be ‘strapped in properly’.
When I was asked if I wanted to review a dolls house, I was excited to see what Cherry would think of it but I didn’t know how interested she would be as she is still quite young.
Surprisingly though from the moment we put the house together it became her favourite toy. She calls it her ‘cool dolls house’ and it’s the only thing she ever wants to play with, in fact it is by far the toy that she has played with the most out of all of them and she’s only had it a few days!
After putting it together (with a bit of help from Mr C!), it looked like this…
The dolls house is from www.dollshouses.co.uk and they have a fantastic range of houses, as well as furniture sets and dollies.
I was sent the Sweetheart Cottage and it came with a full set of furniture.
Cherry has been playing various games with it but her favourite is to tuck up the baby and doll into their beds, followed by inviting the Tombliboos round for ‘din dins’.
Here are some of the photos I have taken of her playing…
We have all loved playing with the house and even Mr C has been partaking in some dolly role play, although after a few day of it, he did announce that it’s all getting a bit girly and we need to buy Cherry a car garage!
Disclaimer – I was sent a dolls house, free of charge, for the purpose of this review but all the views and opinions are, as always, my own.
