Top Countries To Explore If “Europe” For It

by Jessica Amey

Hopefully, you’ve excused the awful pun in the title and we can discuss the real topic at hand: Europe. What’s so great about this continent? A lot of things, actually. Too many to list in one article. Every single country in this fascinating part of the world has beauty to offer in terms of history, modern culture, and natural landscapes. You’re spoilt for choice but you probably don’t have the money or time to see everything Europe has to offer in one trip. Let’s narrow down your options. Here’s a look at the top countries to explore if you’re going to visit this wonderful continent.

Italy
Italy is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. Of course, we’ll be saying that about most of the countries on this list, but Italy truly is stunning. The city of Venice is a sight to behold, first of all, but there’s more to it than eye candy. Beneath its gorgeous exterior, there’s a lot to sink your teeth into. A gondola ride along the canals that weave through Venice’s vibrant and colourful streets is a fantastic experience. We absolutely LOVED Venice when we went. You should visit cities such as Sicily if you’re looking for a slightly different holiday. The beautiful Mount Etna that looms above this city is well worth seeing in person.

France
France is a country that has a lot to offer in terms of culture as well as its beautiful natural sights. The chance to live in amongst those stunning surroundings is certainly one of the perks of a trip to this fantastic European country. Of course, you don’t have to stay in the centre of the packed capital of Paris. You could look into holiday rentals in France if you want to stay in a luxury chateaux or villa in the countryside or by the beach. In order to get a real feel of the vibe of this beautiful country, you should see what it truly has to offer beyond its cities. There’s so much culture to absorb.

England
There’s a lot to see and do in England, even if it might not be your first choice when planning a trip to Europe. Yes, it doesn’t boast as much sunshine as other European countries but it offers so much in terms of contemporary culture and fascinating history. London is the place to start, obviously. Once you’ve visited fantastic sites such as the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, you need to explore some of the beautiful modern venues in the city. Luxury venues such as The Five Fields are well worth a visit whilst you’re in the city.

But there’s more to England than London, believe it or not. You should visit the city of Bath if you want to see some truly beautiful buildings and pieces of history. Remnants of the Roman Baths provide an insight into ancient civilisation that will blow your mind. Futuristic instalments such as underfloor heating seem well beyond their time. This city is definitely worth a visit.

Cornwall is also well worth a visit, the beaches are gorgeous, as are some of the little towns and villages.
