The Beach In January

We decided to go to the beach yesterday to celebrate the fact that it wasn’t raining for once.

I was expecting it to be freezing but it wasn’t at all.

We had such a nice day.

It was so warm and there were families building sandcastles and having picnics.

We walked along the beach and threw stones in the sea.

Then got to enjoy the best part about any trip to the beach…

When I woke up today to see it grey and rainy again, it almost all felt like a dream.

It was nice to know that it’s possible to have such a nice day on the beach in January though.
