A Family Walk At Stourhead

by Jessica Amey

Stourhead is one of my favourite National Trust properties.

No matter what the time of year it’s always gorgeous but spring is one of my favourite times to go as the trees are all in blossom.

Last Sunday we met up with Mr C’s family to go for a walk there.

I’m always raving about how great our National Trust passes are but they really are amazing, we had made back our annual charge in the first month and as the weather improves I will be using it more than once a week.

If you haven’t ever been but live reasonably close then I would definitely recommend it. After you have done the walk there is a little courtyard with a pub and ice-cream shop to stop and re-fuel. There is also a National Trust cafe next to the car park that does amazing cream teas.
