eBooks with Sainsbury’s Cereal

by Jessica Amey

When I was a little girl I can remember getting excited about the gifts that came in boxes of cereal.

As the times have changed, those gifts became tokens you had to collect for various things and now Sainsbury’s are offering something even more exciting: Free copies of children’s eBooks!

It’s to encourage children to read more and there are four books available – The Story of Tracy Beaker and Hetty Feather by Jacqueline Wilson and Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life and I Funny by James Patterson.

Tim Lennox, Managing Director of eBooks by Sainsbury’s, said: “I hope this offer will mean millions of children enjoy reading some of the best loved children’s books. We sell over six million boxes of Sainsbury’s branded cereal every year so this is a great way to encourage children to read at no cost to their parents.”

To download the free books customers simply need to visit www.sainsburysebooks.co.uk and enter the unique voucher code, or scan the QR code displayed on their box of cereal then download the eBook to their tablet device, or smartphone free of charge.

I’m sure this will be really popular because cereal is such a cupboard staple.
