Papering the Walls With Wallpaper

by Jessica Amey

I’ve never actually decorated with wallpaper before but it’s something that I’ve been thinking about more and more lately.

The only thing that concerns me is that I would get bored of it and apparently it’s a bit of a nightmare to strip off, although maybe you can just put another layer on top?!

Homebase have a HUGE range of wallpaper, 29 pages full! I’ve just spent the morning looking through to pick out my favourites…

top ten wallpapers

1 / 23 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10

I was absolutely obsessed with Winnie the Pooh when I was little and would have loved this wallpaper, I like the way it’s not all in colour, I think it would stop it from feeling too full on. Number six is absolutely crazy but I do love it, I think one wall would be enough though. I chose number ten because Tiger is absolutely obsessed with anything that has wheels and he would love it.

I like number four because it looks like you could personalise it, especially if you were good at drawing, which I’m not but if I was then I would draw little pictures in some of the boxes.

I think my favourite right now is number nine though, I’m a bit obsessed with that mustard yellow colour at the moment and love the design on it.

Do you have much experience with wallpaper?

Any tips?!
