I’ve found that since having kids I’ve struggled to stay on top of my household chores.
I’ve never minded a bit of mess but when there is so much crap on my staircase that I can barely walk up it even I start to get a bit stressed out!
The thing is that it’s hard to do much cleaning in the day with two young kids, especially upstairs where J ends up trying to lick the toilet. Then by the evening I’m too tired and at the weekend I just want to go out and do fun things. There needs to be an extra day at the weekend dedicated to doing all the boring household chores, although I still doubt they’d get done!
