Cuba
Cuba is a Caribbean Island that is known for it’s white beaches, tobacco fields, vintage lifestyle and Salsa music. You can explore the stunning beaches such as Cayo Largo del Sur which is known for its sparkling turquoise water and white sand. If you’ve got kids, check out my packing guide for a trip to the beach to make sure you pack everything you might need. You should visit Cayo Largo del Sur and you can see sea turtles lay their eggs on Playa Tortuga and explore the sea turtle farm. You can visit the Morro Castle which is known as the guarding entrance to Havana Bay. You can also visit the Jardines del Rey which is a coral reef off the northern coast of Cuba known for fishing. Varadero is a beach resort area that is a great place to relax and unwind as well.

Corfu
Corfu lies in the northwest coast of Greece in the Ionian Sea and is known for it’s rugged mountains and resort studded coastline. You should visit Palaiokastritsa a village in northwestern Corfu popular to be known as the island of the Phaeacians. Sidari is popular for nightlife, water parks, cliffs and beaches. The Aqualand Park Corfu offers water slides, jacuzzis, spas and pools. A few other beaches to explore are Kerasia beach, Kanoni Beach, Paralia Avlaki, Barbati Beach and Agios Stefanos Beach.

Barbados
Barbados is an eastern Caribbean island and is known for it’s colonial architecture, botanical gardens and stunning beaches. You should visit the Carlisle Bay which is a marine park for it’s relics such as cannon balls and anchors. You should also visit Harrisons Cave which is an underground cavern with stream and pools. A few of the beaches to visit are Bottom Bay, Crane Beach, Dover Beach, Rockley Beach and Bathsheba.

Algarve
The Algarve is Portugal’s southernmost region and is known for it’s golf resorts and Atlantic beaches which are popular surfing sites. You should visit Cape St. Vincent which is the southernmost point in the region and offers spectacular views of the sea. You should visit the Praia da Rocha, Ria Formosa, Praia da Marinha and Benagil Caves to explore the beautiful beaches this region has to offer. There are beautiful villas across the Algarve region, so if you want to see multiple destinations then just rent a car, get central accommodation, and go out on lots of day trips. If you’ve got kids then visit the Aquashow Park which is a seasonal park with water rides and shows. You can also visit the Lagos Zoo which hosts a lot of reptiles, birds and mammals and also has an authentic Portuguese restaurant.

Thailand
Thailand is a south Asian country known for it’s tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces and ornate temples. It is popular with backpackers and luxury seekers alike. The capital Bangkok has ultramodern cityscape and offers a contrast to the surrounding islands such as Ko Samui and Phuket. You should visit Bangkok for its usual lifestyle and the islands around for a much more unique experience. The Phi Phi Islands offer snorkelling and beautiful beaches. Patong is known for its nightlife and beach resorts. Ko Pha-ngan is known for its monthly renowned full moon parties. A few other beaches to explore are Railay Beach, Similan Islands, Ko Samet and Ko Phi Phi Le.
