Princess Cakes and Stripey Straws

by Jessica Amey

A few weeks ago we were stuck indoors on a rainy afternoon so decided to have a little tea party.

I made some cupcakes which were dairy free so Mr C (who is allergic) could eat some too, I actually don’t think anyone would even notice they didn’t have dairy in, I used dairy free spread for the icing in the same way you would use butter and it tasted just as good.

I used this Princess Cupcake Kit to decorate them, the little toppers are so gorgeous.

Then I made some smoothies out of coconut milk, strawberries and bananas and we drunk them out of these cute little bottles with stripey straws. Cherry wanted plain milk as she doesn’t like smoothies, or milkshakes, strange child!

These plates match the cupcake set and are so pretty, really girly without being too over the top, Cherry is really into princesses at the moment so she loved them.

Then we all stuffed our faces!
